My Projects
My time in DARE (Delft Aerospace Rocket Engineering) during my BSc gave me invaluable experience in mutliple sub-systems and taught me engineering intuition.
Building things have always brought me joy. I love to learn how to build using different tools. It is also one of my coping mechanisms that give me a boost of dopamine during rough times.
Experienced in cryogenic pressure vessel design, optimization, and regulatory compliance through internship and consultancy work.
Hybrid composite I-beams with strategically placed inserts improve the tensile strength and bearing performance of automotive suspension arm components, providing a cost-effective solution for lightweight design.
New thermal barrier coatings are being developed to address limitations of the current coating material (7YSZ) in high-pressure turbine blades of jet engines. These coatings aim to achieve improved temperature resistance, resistance to CMAS, and enhanced thermal properties for enhanced efficiency.
My enduring interest lies in aircraft seat structures, driven by a curiosity to understand the complexities of loadings, trade-offs, challenges, and costs involved in optimizing these visible aviation components.
